How can knowledge be both locally situated and globally relevant? The New Alphabet School is a traveling school for solidarity between different ways of knowing with stops in New Delhi, Athens, Porto, Rafah, Dakar, Warsaw and Berlin. The volume presents contributions that have emerged from these gatherings and at the same time offers an overview of current methods of practice-based research in the arts, activism and collective research.
