UMĚNÍ / ART 01/2024

Umění / Art is a peer-reviewed art historical journal published since 1953 by the Institute of Art History. It focuses on Czech, but also more broadly on Central European and European art from the early Middle Ages to the present, as well as on theoretical and methodological topics. It seeks to promote diverse approaches to the interpretation of art, including overlaps with visual studies, philosophy and literature. In addition to original scholarly studies by local and international scholars, it also publishes material and archival contributions, interviews and reviews.
