Artmat is the first project in the Czech Republic to showcase talents from the contemporary visual arts scene through repurposed vintage cigarette vending machines, while also revitalizing interesting locations in (and beyond) public space.

Instead of cigarettes, the machines now offer a curated selection of miniature artworks produced in limited editions. Each artwork comes packaged in a tiny box the size of a cigarette pack, making contemporary art accessible, collectible, and easy to take home.
