Jakub Janovský: The Cement Garden

The publication and exhibition of the same name by Jakub Janovský, Betonová zahrada (Concrete Garden), presented at the Alš Gallery in South Bohemia, refers to the famous novel by the British writer Ian McEwan, but it fulfils a completely different content, which is an ironic and melancholic reflection on childhood and adolescence in the specific environment of a prefabricated housing estate, which has an impact on the formation of the children's world in various layers of its manifestations.
