Blacksmiths were once more powerful than magicians, but their craft has long since lost its glory. Yet the mere thought of making beautiful objects that will make people happy is magical enough for young apprentice blacksmith Greta, who is half-human and half-goblin.

Gréta's life is fundamentally changed when she rescues a mysterious abandoned animal. She soon learns that it is one of the almost forgotten tea dragons. Tea leaves grow on their antlers, from which a special concoction can be brewed. Those who drink it will know the memories of others. Thanks to the tea dragon, Gréta meets Hesekiel, the owner of the teahouse, who used to be a famous adventurer, befriends the shy and mysterious Mineta and starts to discover the history of the tea dragon society...
