Poetry is adorned with all sorts of things. However, few people look for honesty in it. And because Dominik writes honestly, there is a little less loneliness in the world. He works with words, not just feelings and emotions. He can demonstrate the fact that knowing means sitting and getting calluses on your ass... Searching for sources like the devil himself, "as if a deaf man were putting his fingers on a flute." Bárt avoids ridiculous descriptiveness, which would make his underground breathe the sourness of Ostrava beer and sneeze the bohemian sourness of Brno. More important is what is not repeated, sobriety in a world where poetry boards trains that are not driven by a timetable, and where the current generation of poets has "become independent of poetry." Bárt's verses for boys and girls guard the secrets of experiences, diary initiations, and observations, but they do not bear name tags on their bells; something dry and unloving crackles there when he "chooses simplicity from space."
