Kateřina Šedá’s new book is a series of ‘detective’ interviews mapping different stages of the process on her ongoing project ’It’s Too Late In The Day’. Note on title: ‘Each time it was different. First it was ‘No Light’, then it was ‘It’s Too Late In The Day’, and after that ‘No Way’. And for one exhibition I used ten different titles: ‘Shit Happens’, ‘What Can You Do?’, ‘No Way’, ‘No Light’, ‘It’s Too Late In The Day’, ‘It’s a Non-Starter’, ‘There’s No Light’, ‘No Go’, ‘That’s the Way the Cookie Crumbles’, ‘Nothing To Be Done’. So everyone thought it was something new …’
This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition: ‘Kateřina Šedá / It’s Too Late In The Day’ 12 March – 8 May 2011 Künstlerhaus Bremen Supported by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung.
