The PERA publishing house, which I founded this year, focuses on photographic publications and artistic research in small pocket book formats. The first book will be published in December 2025 and relates to my recent studies in Turkey. With the book HOUSES FOR CATS, I present the results of a territorial research in the streets of Istanbul and an exploration of the phenomenon that co-creates the identity of the location. The goal of the PERA publishing house is to create publications that explore the essence and connections between people and their environments by photographing simple and everyday things around us. While working on this collection, I often had in mind Václav Bělohradský's lecture about the Anthropocene. In this lecture, he mentions the term "non-human," which is often used and occurs around us. But at the same time, he asks the question: What does "human" actually mean?
