The second issue of the new edition of FŮD mag, "FŮD ZINE", focuses on the theme of work. How do we find a balance between work that pays the bills and own projects, activism, and volunteering? How do we stay active and not burn out in a flood of nice-to-have activities? How is our perception of our own lives affected by the capitalist concept of “free time” that permeates our culture? And are illustrators today, when social and health insurance costs more than four covers for a prestigious magazine per month (at least in CZ)? It was audacious to invite illustrators to a zine about work without offering a fee, and it was all the more surprising that almost all those we invited actually joined. The topic of work leaves few in peace.
