Sedlmajerová draws on Czech and other languages, on literature and not only on visual or auditory interpretations of text, moving from herself through others to humanity as a species, to plants and all living things. She mystically and imaginatively recreates and, from a kind of other, reversed side of existence, grasps the Earth, life on it, and the human race, verifying fundamental human myths, perceptions, beliefs, customs, and reasons, but also the everyday banalities and necessities of life—such as love.
